Meet Dr. Casey
I feel honored to have been one of the founding members of HOPE Center for Christian Counseling, which opened its doors in 2006. From its beginnings, the purpose and passion of the HOPE Counseling ministry has been to provide clinically excellent, professional, mental health treatment that is anchored in the beliefs of the Christian faith.
I am a fully licensed psychologist in the State of Michigan, a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor, and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Locally, I am a member of the Fenton Counseling Network. Clinically, I do most of my work from a Cognitive-Behavioral and Insight-oriented perspective through which we explore how our thoughts and expectations affect what we feel, what we do, and how we interact with others.
How to Get Started
Respect For Client Needs
Over the years, counseling services have been provided to people from many different denominations, as well as to those who have no church affiliation. Knowing that each person finds themselves at a different place on the faith spectrum, HOPE Counseling has always been respectful of other’s faith boundaries..
My Approach
At its core, HOPE is meant to be a safe haven, where clients can receive help and support in an encouraging and positive environment. HOPE is also meant to be a launching pad, from which clients can go forward to live the abundant life that Christ offers to each of us.
